Gratitude Joy & Healing

August 16, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$150

We all have mobile phones with apps on it that can do so many things. But no matter what type of phone we have,  we need to charge it every day. When we charge it every day, we activate it with the energy in which everything else functions. So, in order to infuse values and real character into our life we need to put some time aside a day to charge the batteries of our higher values

If we ourselves want to be happy and if we want others to be happy, we need to develop Gratitude.

What is gratitude?

It’s safe to say that most of us don’t live every day or moment of our life feeling positive and happy. There can be many valid reasons for this, life is very challenging and is full of ups and downs. But by looking at the bigger picture of life we can be grateful in all situations. By developing an attitude of gratitude, we can have a positive perspective in situations which might seem unfavorable….. It is our choice to see the glass half full or half empty. If we are not grateful, we will become resentful & negative – why is it happening like this, why someone is like this or why I am like this.

Guided meditation session will help you to replace any negative emotions or feelings you might have with positive ones by developing gratitude for what we have in life.

Practicing meditation has countless benefits on all aspects of your health. There are many different ways you can meditate, and no wrong way – as long as you are setting aside some time for yourself, you will see a change in your life.
In this session, meditation guide Zaki will guide you to bring perspective into your life and focus on all of the things you are grateful for. Studies show that practicing gratitude every day can have a lasting effect on the brain and can help to release toxic thoughts and emotions. Anything is possible with an attitude of gratitude!
We all aspire to leading happy, healthy lives. To fulfill this yearning for well-being, we generally find ourselves actively trying to obtain what we’ve decided we need and steer clear of anything that might thwart our designs. But we tend to overlook one of the most reliable sources of happiness and well-being even though (or maybe because) it is right here within us: gratitude. As soon as we start to think about it, there’s an awful lot we can be grateful for, even when times are rough. Whether you design your own or prefer to follow a guided gratitude meditation, this kind of practice is sure to touch your heart and quell the inner voices of discontent.
How does gratitude meditation work?
In some spiritual traditions, people start the day with a chant that expresses their deep gratitude for the blessings they’ve received in their lives. They might thank the divine, their parents, the earth, teachers, and anything they can think of that makes it possible for their lives to continue to blossom.
It’s interesting to note that most gratitude lists aren’t burdened by too many material things. Sure, we can be grateful for a roof over our heads, a trouble-free car, a good meal, etc., but these things tend to take a back seat to relationships, health and inspiration. It’s important – and maybe a little counter-intuitive – to realize that our gratitude shouldn’t just stem from the good things in life. Rather, in addition to recognizing everything that’s going well.
Studies have traced a range of impressive benefits to the simple act of writing down the things for which we’re grateful—benefits including better sleep, fewer symptoms of illness, and more happiness among adults and kids alike.”

Benefits of gratitude meditation
As with journaling, there’s a science to gratitude meditation. Research has shown that benefits include an elevated sense of well-being, lower incidences of depression, better sleep, and greater trust. Most often, the rewards are felt virtually immediately, which means that practicing gratitude meditation even once can enhance well-bein

With a solid basis in mindfulness, you can practice gratefulness, generosity and the many other kinds of meditation with more awareness and ease.
