Awakening Your Intuition: From the Head to the Heart

February 27, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$120

DEVELOP YOUR INTUITION WORKSHOP
Do you want to feel your intuition in a stronger way?
Do you want to stop taking on the energy of others?

Do you want to live more empowered in your body?
If you sense that you are intuitive, but would like to learn how to connect to it more deeply and develop skills to expand it, this is your workshop! In this course, you will learn how to separate the intuitive voice of your soul from the voice of your Ego. Your Ego is made up of wounds, programming, and past emotions. The voice of the ego can overpower your intuitive voice when the emotions from the past are not cleared.

Reclaiming Your Intuition
How do you allow yourself to remember and develop your intuitive abilities? It is easier than you think. I was totally unaware that what I felt about people was called intuition. Why? Because no one had ever told me that what I was doing had a name. I just thought everybody did “it.” My hope is that by helping you to identify “it” that you will discover that you too have had “it” all along. You just need to give yourself permission to remember and then learn how to use your intuitive ability more consciously.

If you do give yourself permission to awaken your intuition, you will find how much more peaceful life becomes. Eventually you will feel the inner calm in stressful situations. You will begin to see that everything that is going on around you is not all about you. This will give you the space you need to process your own feelings and not get caught up in another person’s drama.
If someone had told me twenty years ago that I would be using my intuitive ability to help others on their healing journey, I would have laughed myself to tears. It took me a long time to recognize my awakening intuition for what it was. Developing intuition didn’t happen overnight you have to recognize your intuitive ability.
Finding out that there were four different types of intuitive abilities helped me to develop my particular intuitive skill set, which helped me to be more accurate. Everyone has all four, but one will tend to be more dominant than the others. Once I understood what my dominant type of intuitive ability was, it made it so much easier to focus on that strength and develop it.

Mindfulness is the first step in emotional healing—being able to turn toward and acknowledge our difficult thoughts and feelings (such as inadequacy, sadness, anger, confusion) with a spirit of openness and curiosity. Self-compassion involves responding to these difficult thoughts and feelings with kindness, sympathy and understanding so that we soothe and comfort ourselves when we’re hurting. Research has shown that self-compassion greatly enhances emotional wellbeing. It boosts happiness, reduces anxiety and depression, and can even help maintain healthy lifestyle habits such as diet and exercise. Being both mindful and compassionate leads to greater ease and well-being in our daily lives.

Who can benefit ?
Can be learned by anyone. It’s the practice of repeatedly evoking good will toward ourselves especially when we’re suffering—cultivating the same desire that all living beings have to live happily and free from suffering.

Most of us feel compassion when a close friend is struggling. What would it be like to receive the same caring attention whenever you needed it most? All that’s required is a shift in the direction of our attention—recognizing that as a human being, you, too, are a worthy recipient of compassion.

how to stop being so hard on yourself

how to become your own best teacherSelf-compassion is the heart of mindfulness. It is warmhearted, connected presence during difficult moments in our lives. Self-compassion provides emotional strength and resilience that allows us to admit our shortcomings, motivate ourselves with encouragement, forgive ourselves when needed, care for others and be more fully ourselves. Rapidly expanding research shows that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional well-being; lower levels of anxiety and depression; healthy habits such as diet and exercise; and more satisfying personal relationships.
