~Meditative Therapies~
The Healing Power of Laughter, Tears, and Silence
Revolutionary meditation:
Reserve your seat for 1- Days – Laughing, Tears and Silence Meditation Laughing, Tears and Silence Meditation is been described as the most important new meditation since the creation of Vipassana by Gautam Buddha. This 1 Day Healing Journey Includes:First All the laughter you need to unblock your blockagesSecond days: All the tears you need to further unblock your blockage, all the silence you need to go inside yourselfIs a non verbal deep energy process which can free old, stuck energies, renew our vitality and create space for meditation, relaxation and silence. It is meditative because the process is individual, leading us into a no-mind space of awareness and relaxation. It is therapy because of the cleansing effects and although it is an individual journey the group energy helps each person to trust and move deeper in.
RETURN TO THE INNOCENCE OF THE INNER CHILD
This workshop uses therapeutic meditation techniques to release the energy of the inner child within you: joyfulness, innocence, vulnerability, spontaneity, creativity…
It is comprised of four main stages:
LAUGHTER FOR NO REASON
The effect creates the cause : you start by laughing voluntarily and the source of joy wells up from within. Everything becomes a cause for laughter, even your “favorite” problems. Instead of laughing at something, you experience the laughter for no reason of the child expressing their pleasure at play. This first stage of the workshop uses many techniques of “laughter yoga” the same as in the LAUGHTER FOR NO REASON”workshop.
PURIFYING TEARS
Crying expresses our vulnerability and this is the space in which love can grow. Crying expresses not only sadness, it also intensifies joy. Whether we cry from sadness, from gratitude or from joy, tears are the language of the overflowing heart, a form of prayer. In this stage of the workshop, gentle music helps us to contact our feelings and to bring forth the tears.
PLAYFULNESS
Wonder, innocence, spontaneity, the joy of being alive : playfulness is the quality of the young at heart. In this stage of the workshop, participants meet in child’s play exploring their potential for pure fun.
HEALING
After laughing, crying and playing together, we are already on fairly intimate terms. What better way than a warm hug to express this closeness! And hugging satisfies a deep need of the child within us for human contact. The last part of the workshop allows us to experience the deeply relaxing and healing process of exchanging hugs.
In this process you go from joyous laughter to tears of sadness, passing through tears of gratitude and joy, to come back to a deeper laughter. This is the circle of the seasons of the heart, that cleans and heals old wounds. Then you can experience playing in complete innocence with others, in a game where laughter is not a way of escaping sadness, but a deeper laughter born out of accepting periods of sadness.
All the laughter you need to unblock your blockages
All the tears you need to further unlock your blockages
All the silence you need to go inside yourself

Transformed fear and grief into joy and inner peace, accessible, innovative methods. Emphasizing expression, rather than repression, of emotion, these dynamic practices can begin with a variety of movements and sounds, or with silence. Meeting practitioners where they are — in sadness, fear, stress, anger, or joy — the techniques can be done in the midst of work, play, and home life, and either alone or with others. Drawing on such traditions as Sufism and Buddhism and such teachers as the twentieth-century mystics Osho and Gurdjieff, synthesis meets the needs of contemporary life with attention to the full range of human experience and reverence for the peace and joy possible in every moment.

KHALIL GIBRAN – THE PROPHET
Speaks to us of joy and sorrow.
He answered: Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.
Is not the cup that holds your wine the very cup that was burned in the potter’s oven?
And is not the lute that soothes your spirit, the very wood that was hollowed with knives?
When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
Some of you say, “Joy is greater than sorrow,” and others say, “Nay, sorrow is the greater.”
But I say unto you, they are inseparable.
Together they come, and when one sits alone with you at your board, remember that the other is asleep upon your bed.
Verily you are suspended like scales between your sorrow and your joy.
Only when you are empty are you at standstill and balanced.
The first part will be laughter – people simply laugh for no reason at all. And the second part is tears. The first part removes everything that hinders your laughter – all the repressions. It cuts them away. Digging you will be surprised how many layers of dust have gathered upon your being. It will cut them like a sword in one blow.
Powerful because the structure immediately brings us in touch with our inhibitions, controls, seriousness and inability to laugh freely with the delight of a child. Digging past one barrier after another for seven days, we find the playfulness – the sheer joy of belly laughing at nothing in particular.
The release of tears after these seven days of laughter is overwhelming. We seem to have been carrying a lake of despair and misery which, when opened up, simply floods us for the next seven days. During the crying our hearts open, the eyes become and luminous, participants are vulnerable, open and tender.
Laughter comes easily and nothing is taken very seriously. The tears help people to center themselves more quietly in their beings. It is as if people are dropping chunks of conditioning all around the room, and an opportunity arises to see what a disease seriousness is.
The “Watcher on the hill” phase is the culmination of it all.
“All that this world needs is a good cleansing of the heart of all the inhibitions of the past. Laughter and tears can do both. Tears will take out all the agony that is hidden inside you and laughter will take all that is preventing your ecstasy. Once you have learned the art you will be immensely surprised: why has this not been told up to now? There is a reason: nobody has wanted humanity to have the freshness of a rose flower and the fragrance and the beauty.”
This is my meditation per excellence
Do not lose this opportunity to live this extraordinary experience
Meditative Therapies are processes for freeing old, stuck energies, to renew vitality and to create space for silence. They work energetically, bypassing the conscious, analytically mind. They are therefore clear, pure processes where individuals are connecting directly with their own energy, without any interference or intervention from a facilitator (except in rare circumstances where guidance is needed). And all of them are basically meditations – even in the active phase, one is in a moment-to-moment encounter with oneself
Meditative Therapies are simple and effective. There is minimum Interaction among the participants during the Therapies, but the energy of the group helps each individual go more deeply into his or her own process.
All that this world needs is a good cleansing of the heart of all the inhibitions of the past. And laughter and tears can do both. Tears will take out all the agony that is hidden inside you and laughter will take all that is preventing your ecstasy. Once you have learned the art you will be immensely surprised.
But if you look at the physiology of your body, you have the same glands full of tears whether you are man or woman. If the whole world can learn to cry and weep again it will be a tremendous transformation, a metamorphosis.
“The third step is silence. I have called it “The Watcher on the Hills.” Become as silent as if you are alone on the top of an Himalayan peak, utterly silent and alone, just watching, listening… sensitive, but still.”
For twenty six years Zaki has been training and practicing healing and meditation. She has done the e meditation therapy 21 times. The Mystic Rose consists of 21 days of meditation with 3 hours of practice a day. There is seven days of laughing and seven days of crying and then lastly seven days of silent meditation
Effects of Laughter
Laughter therapy boosts the interferon levels of the immune system which helps the system’s ability to fight illness and escalates healing. Laughter decreases stress hormones that constrict blood vessels and suppress immune activity.
Muscle Relaxation – Belly laugh results in muscle relaxation. While you laugh, the muscles that do not participate in the belly laugh, relaxes. After you finish laughing those muscles involved in the laughter start to relax. So, the action takes place in two stages.
Reduction of Stress Hormones – Laughter reduces at least four of neuroendocrine hormones associated with stress response. These are epinephrine, cortisol, dopac, and growth hormone.
Immune System Enhancement – Clinical studies have shown that humor strengthens the immune system.
Pain Reduction – Humor allows a person to “forget” about pains such as aches, arthritis, etc.
Cardiac Exercise – A belly laugh is equivalent to “an internal jogging.” Laughter can provide good cardiac conditioning especially for those who are unable to perform physical exercises.
Blood Pressure – Women seem to benefit more than men in preventing hypertension.
Respiration – Frequent belly laughter empties your lungs of more air than it takes in resulting in a cleansing effect – similar to deep breathing. Especially beneficial for patient’s who are suffering from emphysema and other respiratory ailments.
The purification for The Heart
It has been shown that laughing helps protect the heart. Although studies are not sure why laughing protects the heart, the studies do explain that mental stress impairs the endothelium, which is the protective barrier lining a person blood vessels. Once the endothelium is impaired, it can cause a series of inflammatory reactions that lead to cholesterol build up in a persons coronary arteries, which can ultimately cause a heart attack.
Her goal is to help you learn to transform pain and fear into happiness and bliss. She helps you let go and heal the traumas and blockages of the past that hold you back from revealing your true nature which is ultimately happiness. Her special goal with her therapy is to help people you go more into the heart center and open the heart to give and receive love. When we are more in our heart and less in our mind we live a deeper life full of love, compassion, service to others. Most people are in the mind and not in the heart and so it is Zaki’s mission to help others to live in the heart center through her healing work and meditations.
For those that want to go very deep into meditation this is a perfect practice for you.
The first part will be laughter, for the people simply laugh for no reason at all. With this meditation you cannot conceive how much transformation can come to your being.
The second part is tears. The first part removes everything that hinders your laughter all the inhibitions of past humanity, all the repression, it cuts them away. It brings a new space within you. But you still have to go a few steps more to reach the temple of your being, because people have suppressed so much negative emotions sadness, anger, jealousy, despair, resentment, anxiety, depression, addictions, insomnia.
They are all there, covering you and destroying your beauty, your grace, your joy. Pain is suppressed. You don’t want to be painful, so you suppressed it, you avoid, you look somewhere else. But it remains. If you cry and weep with out any reason, just as an exercise, a meditation nobody will believe it. Tears have never been accepted as meditation. They are not only a meditation, they are a medicine also. You will have better eyesight and you will have better inner vision. Tears will take out the agony that it is hidden inside you and laughter will take all that is preventing your ecstasy.
Third state
The -watcher on the hill.- With a thoroughly cleansed heart, just sitting silently in meditation.
and I agree with it — that life after life it goes on accumulating in you; it becomes almost a hard shell of pain. These wounds and scars have been developing for many lives. They are not part of the body, they are surrounding the consciousness and have to be released. That’s why all the saints and sages have been telling you — shouting — “Go into yourself!”. You listen but you don’t go. There is a reason why you don’t go. You know that going in, you will have to encounter pain; going in, you will have to encounter misery, suffering, agony. It is better to remain outside, engaged, busy.
So for 1 days, you have to allow yourself to weep, cry for no reason at all – the tears are just ready to come. You have been preventing them. Just don’t prevent. Finally the third part is witnessing: The Watcher on the Hills. After the laughter and the tears, there is only a witnessing silence. Witnessing on its own is automatically suppressive. Weeping stops when you witness it, it becomes dormant. This meditation gets rid of the laughter and tears beforehand, so that there is nothing to suppress in your witnessing. Then the witnessing simply opens a pure sky.
