Reiki Classes for Kids

 Usui Reiki is healing energy that flows through the body as it helps calm the mind and balance the body. Children are very receptive to this healing energy from a very young age. They can learn how to use Reiki energy to help calm themselves and ease anxiety during doctor and dentist visits when they are upset. If they have a cold, the flu, muscle aches and pains, or headaches they are better able to diminish the symptoms when they learn how to use the Reiki energy. It can help them to be self-reliant.

Children as young as 6 years old can be attuned to Reiki level  1. There is nothing to memorize or any preparation necessary before the class. Once attuned to the Usui Reiki energy they can access it just by placing their hands on any part of their body as they think about the energy. Just thinking about it can activate the energy into motion. They can lay in bed at night and relax as the warmth coming from their hands radiates a soothing feeling that relaxes and calms them to sleep. The Usui Reiki energy can be very helpful for sports injuries. Some people have reported faster healing time when using Reiki after a sport trauma.

The child must have completed Reiki level 1 before they can be attuned to level 2 of the Usui Reiki healing energy.. After receiving the attunement for the Reiki level 2 class some students report they feel more creative. They discover new avenues of self-expression.

Children have a natural awareness of healing energy.  They are very close to the flow of life.  It is easy for them to learn Reiki.  In this class we honor their unique perspectives and present Reiki in a way they can understand.  An attunement will be offered during this workshop, the acceptance of which is entirely up to the child.  The emphasis will be placed on experiencing Reiki and putting words and feelings to this experience through art, movement and sound.  Most of all, they will meet other kids their age, have a lot of fun, and leave fully empowered to use Reiki in their life!

Degree Certification (Reiki I Training) specifically designed for children 8 to 14 years of age. The class both playful and fun butaccurate.

The Reiki I attunements given to each child are the same that all of our adult Reiki students receive in our Reiki I Training Class.

 

The young student will learn the history of Reiki, learn to scan the energy field for general physical vitality  learn how to administer Reiki self-treatment, how to administer emergency treatments, and how to give a complete Reiki session to anyone … including other children, adults and pets. He or she will receive a Reiki

I Training Certification, and a handsome diploma  completion of the course.

 Taking this class is a gift to your child that can serve as a resource for health and healing throughout his or her lifetime. He or she can self-treat and also help others (including pets) with long-standing conditions and in situations requiring immediate aid.

 Everyone has the ability to perform Reiki healing and anyone can learn it.

 It is ideal for children because in the process of learning Reiki, they learn about their bodies, their inner spirit, their personal power and their connection to the universal life force, which is universal love.

What is a Reiki attunement?

 The Reiki attunement is a sacred spiritual initiation that connects the initiate with higher levels of consciousness and an unlimited source of healing energy. It heals and conditions the crown, heart, and palm chakras for their use in channeling Reiki and makes other adjustments in the student’s energy system necessary on an individual basis. Reiki Level I consists of four attunements.

 Reiki for Children is a First Degree workshop specifically designed for kids. This four hour fun, entertaining class covers the basics of Reiki. Students are required to have a support system in place before attending this class. This support is usually a parent or other adult. This class is excellent for all children. Those who participate in this class often comment that they feel more confidence, do better in school and feel more relaxed in new situations. It is a “must do” however forchild who often feels stressed out, has learning challenges, trouble sleeping or physical pain.

Reiki is a spiritual practice, and a Japanese technique of natural healing primarily facilitated through gentle, loving touch. We invite you to join designed especially for children! Kids will receive initiation into the practice and learn to give sessions to themselves and each other.

 Reiki’s gentle and noninvasive nature is perfect for treating the ills and upsets of young children. Children are extremely receptive to Reiki’s positive effects and will normally welcome it without any apprehension The workshop is conducted in a child friendly environment.  Parents may stay in a helping capacity.  There will be creative work and physical play, as such comfortable clothes are essential.  Snacks and refreshments will be made available, please inform us well in advance of any allergies.

Choosing a Reiki Master

1.Experience:
There is no substitute for consistent, long-term experience when choosing a professional in any field. Always ask the Reiki Master how many years they have been practicing Reiki and how often they use it. Ask them how many healing sessions they have given, and how many Initiations they have given. Also, in accordance with the true Usui Reiki teachings, a Master-Teacher must give a minimum of 25 Initiations for Level I before proceeding to give any Level II Initiations. In addition, ask them if it is something they do part-time in addition to their regular work? Ask when they became certified.

•Zaki has been practicing Reiki for over 26 years. In addition to teaching meditation, it is her full-time occupation. It is her life. She integrates it into everything she does. She has given over a thousand healings and several hundred Initiations in her lifetime. And in accordance with the true Usui Reiki teachings, she has given the prerequisite 25 Level I Initiations before she began giving any Level II Initiations

Zaki is the most sought after Reiki practitioner at the largest meditation resort in the world, in Pune India, where she goes every year for 4 months. She also teaches Reiki in Europe for several months each year and maintains a large international clientele. 2. Training/Qualifications:
Reiki training can vary widely. Ask the Reiki Master who they learned from, and what their teacher’s qualifications were. Ask them why they chose their teacher and how manyattunements they received during the Initiation. Another point to consider is lineage; how close they are to the original source (Mikao Usui). The further away from the source, the more distorted the teachings can become. And always ask to see their certifications and what they do to learn more about Reiki.

• Zaki traveled the world seeking out the best Reiki Masters to learn from; in India, Nepal, Tibet, & Singapore. And she is constantly learning more about Reiki all the time.

When asked why she took multiple Master-Teacher degrees in the same type of Reiki, her response was; “I was always curious why people who took the same type of Reiki, Usui for example, had very different learning experiences from what I was originally taught. I wanted to see for myself several different styles, so that I could have a deeper understanding of Reiki from several different viewpoints.”

• 3. Inner Work:
This is something that is often not even considered when selecting a Reiki Master-Teacher but is every bit as important as experience and training, maybe even more so. The more inner work a person does, the more they can become a clear channel for the Divine Energy to flow through them.

•

• When a Master-Teacher gives you an attunement, they open your etheric channels and activate your energy centers. The degree to which your channels will be opened are directly dependent upon your willingness & desire and how opened the Master-Teacher’s channels are. If their channels are not open, then you will receive very little energy and your attunementwill be ineffective, and ultimately your Reiki healings will be ineffective as well.

•

• This is where inner work comes in; it clears the mental & emotional garbage, removes the blockages, and allows for apotent attunement. If you want to have a powerful Reiki Initiation, then you must seek out a clear channel. Always ask what kind of and how much inner work (both personal & spiritual growth) the Master-Teacher has done. And, what they do on a daily basis to prevent any backslide. Most importantly, feel the Master-Teacher’s energy. You will sense it when they’ve done their work by how open their heart is and how loving they are.

• Zaki has done extensive inner work at the Osho Multiversity in Pune, India, totaling over 14,500 hours. She attended the Multiversity every year for at least 4 months a year for the past 25 years and also lived there for 3 ½ years. Work such as: releasing stuck emotions, discovering and changing beliefs, understanding personality & self, taking personal inventory, meditation, etc.

•

• One such course, called The Mystic Rose, is perhaps one of the most difficult offered at the Multiversity. It involves 21 days of continuous work: 7 days of laughing, 7 days of crying, & 7 days of silence. Zaki has done this particular course 18 times! • Zaki is also a Black Robe Therapist at the largest meditation resort in the world (Pune, India) where she helps others work through their issues as well. She is the most in-demand Therapist at the resort, her sessions are always booked, weeks in advance.

• She teach to the nurses and doctors, in hospital, in Italy.

• Daily meditation is also very important to keep the channels open and connect with the Source. Zaki does meditation every day, a very powerful form of meditation called Active Meditation, designed specifically for the modern man. She also teaches this type of meditation both here and abroad.

Zaki is also very much a person of the heart. Love is really at the core of all her work. Her Initiations, her healings, her meditations, she does with Love. And you will feel that Love when you are with her. Let her open your heart as well. 

4. Results:
All the training & certifications in the world won’t amount to much if the Master-Teacher has not experienced some degree of real, tangible results in their practice. Ask the Master-Teacher about their experiences in using the Reiki energy. Ask for specific examples.

Zaki’s story is an interesting one. While in her twenties, she had an operation to remove her diseased left ovary. Years later, the other ovary also became diseased and the doctor recommended removing that one as well. During the first surgery there were severe complications, resulting in coma and a lengthy and painful recovery. She did not want to go through that again so she searched for alternatives. She went to India, where she learned about Reiki and used it on herself. She returned to Italy for her scheduled operation, but when the doctor checked the pre-op x-rays, he was stunned. Not only was the ovary healed, but the other one he removed years before had grown back!!

•

• She has also helped heal others of many serious diseases, including cancer. One client had two brain tumors. He was scheduled for brain surgery to remove them. But after multiple Reiki sessions, the tumors disappeared and he cancelled the surgery. Of course, there are no guarantees, even with modern medicine, that similar results can be obtained in every case. Always consult your doctor before embarking on any healing .
